Johanne Beauchesne
I have always been passionate about the human body, in 2006 I decided to enroll in a massage therapy school. I was going to be able to help people feel better and evolve in a calm environment.

Very quickly, I realized that diet had a major impact on health and that to relax Muscles through massage offered only a short-term solution. So I signed up for a naturopathic course to understand food and how our environment influences us.

Being a person who practices a lot of sports such as trekking, running, swimming, I had to consult an osteopath to manage to resolve certain discomforts. So in September 2012 I enrolled in a school of osteopathy

Graduated from Énosi, a school that meets the standards recommended by the WHO, I can now offer you full follow-up. And this by taking into consideration all aspects of the body: biomechanics, physiology, anatomy and your lifestyle.

CONSULTATION
Course of a session
As each individual has their own compensation mechanisms, only the precise assessment allows the osteopath to discover the treatment appropriate for each.
Therefore, the session begins with a history rigorous osteopathic intended to cover your disorders and your history. Subsequently, tests are carried out to determine the origin and the cause of the lesions at the level of the various systems.
The treatment consists of gentle manual techniques that target muscles, ligaments, fasciae, joints, skull, viscera, glands, nervous and vascular system, etc.
Finally, to consolidate the treatment and prevent the problem from recurring, the osteopath will suggest
postural work, specific exercises and relevant advice to the patient.
Duration of treatment
Unfortunately, it is difficult to indicate the precise duration of an osteopathic treatment, the needs being different from one patient to another. As an indication, from 1 to 5 sessions are often sufficient to restore the balance of the different structures and their functions, in order to free the patient from the problem for which he had consulted.
Of course, patient involvement (exercises, postural work, etc.) will help achieve this goal.
Reimbursement of expenses
Most insurance companies reimburse part or all of the processing costs. Check with your insurer for the details of your coverage.
